August 25, 2015 - METTLER TOLEDO has announced the Flash DSC Conference to be held December 7th – 9th in Zürich, Switzerland. Well-known scientists from around the world will present new results based on Flash DSC, the MEMS based new microchip DSC technology.
The Flash DSC is revolutionizing rapid-scanning DSC. Thanks to this break-through technology, experts can analyze reorganization processes that were previously impossible to measure. The upcoming conference offers thermal analysis experts a frame to present and discuss Flash DSC uses and applications.
Flash DSC Technology
The Flash DSC allows users to prepare samples with defined structures, such as those that occur during rapid cooling in the injection molding processes. The application of different cooling rates influences the crystallization behavior and structure of the sample.
The use of very high heating rates enables materials to be analyzed without interference from reorganization processes, as there is no time for such processes to occur.
The three-day conference will take place in Zürich (Greifensee and ETH Zürich).
