Merz Pharma Group Announces Promotion of Hyunna Coelho to Vice President, Commercial Excellence

GREENSBORO, N.C., Oct. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Merz, Inc. (US affiliate of Merz Pharma Group) today announced that Hyunna Coelho has been promoted to vice president, commercial excellence. As Vice President Commercial Excellence, Coelho will be primarily responsible for commercial excellence in the areas of sales training and development, corporate communication, sales operations, market research, competitive intelligence, forecasting, and operational analytics for Merz in the U.S.

Coelho joined Merz in November 2009 as National Sales Director Aesthetics. Upon the acquisition of BioForm (now Merz Aesthetics) by the Merz Pharma Group in January 2010, she joined Merz Aesthetics as their Area Business Director East. Coelho brings over 21 years of leadership experience including extensive experience managing high performance sales teams. Prior to joining Merz, she was the Eastern Business Unit Director at OraPharma, Inc., a division of Johnson & Johnson for over 8½ years.

Coelho obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. She also earned her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Pharmaceutical Marketing from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. Hyunna will be based out of the office in Greensboro, NC.
