Medical Device Industry Veteran Angela Horacek Joins AlloSource as VP of Operations

CENTENNIAL, Colo., April 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- AlloSource, one of the nation’s largest non-profit providers of skin, bone and soft tissue allografts for use in surgical procedures and the world’s largest processor of live cellular bone growth substitutes, today announced the hire of Angela Horacek as the Vice President, Operations.

In this role Horacek, a seasoned medical device and operations expert, will oversee the broad range of AlloSource operations including donor receiving and medical records clearance, as well as tissue processing and release.

Horacek comes to AlloSource from nSpire Health, a leading developer and manufacturer of respiratory care products, where she was most recently the Global Vice President of Operations and Quality. In this role, Horacek was responsible for manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, facilities and quality and regulatory services for three facilities around the world. Prior to her role at nSpire Health, she held positions of increasing responsibility in operations for several medical device and pharmaceutical organizations.

Horacek holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, a MBA from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette, and a master’s degree in Conflict Resolution from the University of Denver.
