LION bioscience AG achieved, for the first time, positive net results of € 1.0 m in fiscal year 2005/06 ended March 31, 2006, whereas in fiscal year 2004/05 the recorded net loss was € 12.9 m. The last fiscal year was mainly affected by the successful sale of the bioinformatics unit to BioWisdom Ltd. as of March 31, 2006.
