Novartis and Cambridge Consultants teamed up to develop a new drug auto-injector for MS patients. The ExtaviPro 30G was developed with a special focus on ergonomics and making it look and feel less like a medical device. It can be used with one hand and the shape helps the user to grab it correctly. The surface has rubber sections for improved grip, particularly important in relapsing MS patients who may be weak and have tremors. The ExtaviPro 30G also features an intuitive needle depth controller and depth indicator for easy setting before injection.
