BURLINGTON, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Laboratory Corporation of America® Holdings (NYSE:LH) today announced the commencement of its cash tender offer for all outstanding shares of the common stock of Orchid Cellmark Inc. (NASDAQ:ORCH) for $2.80 per share. The tender offer is being made by OCM Acquisition Corp. a wholly owned subsidiary of LabCorp, pursuant to an Offer to Purchase, dated April 19, 2011. LabCorp and Orchid Cellmark previously announced that they entered into an Agreement and Plan of Merger, dated as of April 5, 2011, for LabCorp to acquire Orchid Cellmark.
