The Editor of the Journal of Medical Device Regulation, Victoria Clark, announced today the appointment of Luciano Oliveira Ferreira, RAC to the Journal’s Editorial Advisory Board.
London, 25 January 2018 – The Editor of the Journal of Medical Device Regulation, Victoria Clark, announced today the appointment of Luciano Oliveira Ferreira, RAC to the Journal’s Editorial Advisory Board. The Journal, which reaches regulatory professionals in the US, Canada, the Middle East, Asia and Europe, welcomes yet another distinguished member of the international medical device regulatory community on its Board.

His expertise and experience should enable us to strengthen the Journal’s regulatory coverage of the region. Our readers might know him from one of his recent not-to-be-missed contributions on Brazilian medical device regulations.”
Luciano has 27 years of experience in the medical devices industry and is RAPS Global certified since 2009. He has experience in Latin American pre-market and post-market regulations, with 750+ and 400+ submissions respectively. He has participated in 30 successful ANVISA GMP inspections to date. He has also coordinated the annual Latin American Workshop at RAPS Convergence (2012–2015). His subject matter expertise includes INMETRO certification in Brazil, global standards, regulatory intelligence, GMP (Brazil, ISO 13485 and FDA´s cGMP), pre and post market regulation in Latin America.
