Vaccine makers said this month they plan to make a record amount of flu vaccine for this fall and winter - enough for more than half the population. It’s just not clear all those people will need it.This year’s flu shot will be a duplicate of last year’s because the same flu strains are still circulating. So some experts say young, healthy people may have enough protection from last season’s vaccine to skip getting it again this fall.
