Thirty employees were officially laid off as of Wednesday, according to Lara L. Mahoney, Invacare director of investor relations and corporate communications.
Twenty are being laid off at the Elyria and North Ridgeville facilities and the rest are from other sites, Mahoney said.
Mahoney declined to discuss specific positions that were eliminated but noted most were “primarily salaried.”
