NASHUA, N.H., Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- iCAD, an industry-leading provider of Computer-Aided Detection (CAD) solutions for the early identification of cancer, today announced that Jean Boyle has joined iCAD as the Vice President of Service. Ms. Boyle brings more than 15 years of customer service experience in the healthcare field to this key management position. Ms. Boyle will be responsible for the continued growth of iCAD’s service business including the management of iCAD’s technical assistance center, field service operations, product specialists and training. Ms. Boyle’s appointment, the latest in a number of management additions over the past six months, will accelerate iCAD’s strategic plan to enhance the level of service to its more than 1,000 customers and to create new, value-added service options with particular emphasis on solutions that address the rapid adoption of digital mammography technology.

Prior to her new role at iCAD, Ms. Boyle served as Vice President of Service at Merge-eMed, a Merge Healthcare company, focused on accelerating productivity for radiology departments and specialty practices, imaging centers and hospitals. Ms. Boyle was responsible for delivering services to a customer base of over 7,000 users on a 24X7 basis, and in this role she established and built Merge-eMed’s technical support center. Prior to being promoted to VP, Ms. Boyle was Director of Customer Operations at Merge-eMed. She developed a network operations center providing constant customer support to domestic and international teleradiology customer base.
Before joining Merge-eMed, Ms. Boyle served as the Director of Quality Assurance/Technical Services at Medical Diagnostics, Inc., a provider of mobile MRI imaging services. At Medical Diagnostics, Inc. Ms. Boyle implemented and maintained the quality assurance/improvement program for 10 imaging units including film review, statistical reporting, medical records, incident reporting, and compliance of DPH, CDC and OSHA requirements.
