Fred Lampropoulos’ life reads like something out of a Horatio Alger novel.
Lampropoulos, 65, started South Jordan, Utah-based medical device company Merit Medical Systems (NSDQ:MMSI) in 1987 and has grown it to more than $500 million in annual sales. He also served in the Special Forces (Airborne), ran for public office twice in Utah and opened for rock legends such as The Doors and The Beach Boys.
