During his 11-year career at GE, Jeffers held positions of increasing responsibility in GE Healthcare, a $16 billion division of GE. Jeffers' positions included General Manager of Global Operations for their Life Support Solutions business and General Manager of Global Sourcing and Lean Initiatives for GE Healthcare's Clinical Systems division. He also had management responsibility for Customer Operations and various manufacturing facilities. Before joining GE, Jeffers was an officer in the United States Air Force, serving in research and systems acquisition roles, and as a project manager for advanced energy systems with NASA and the Department of Energy.
