On the heels of a record 2015, Bulldog Bio introduces a new type of disposable hemocytometer aimed at labs looking to conserve budget expenditures. The 4-Chip Hemocytometer is a 4-chamber, disposable counting slide compatible with any microscope set-up. Incorporating the popular Neubauer Improved grid, the 4-Chip allows four independent counts per slide -- without loss of data quality and at the same price as single or 2-chamber slide.
“The design is unique in that the loading and counting process remains unchanged, even though there are now 4-chambers per slide. This effectively halves the cost to a lab for performing manual cell counts, to about 50-cents” says David Unger, owner at Bulldog Bio. “We’ve had a great response from our testing labs, and feel this product will help any lab that’s looking to save their dimes or to move away from cleaning glass hemocytometers.”
