HemaCare Corp. Sells Therapeutic Apheresis Assets to Fresenius Medical Care

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HemaCare Corporation (OTCBB:HEMA) announced it has reached a definitive agreement to sell certain assets of its therapeutic apheresis operations. Under the terms of the sale, which closed yesterday, HemaCare sold its therapeutic apheresis operation assets to Fresenius Medical Care Holdings, Inc., a leading provider of apheresis services.

Specific terms of the agreement were not released. The parties agreed to a 120 day changeover period to facilitate a smooth and successful transition.
