HemaCare Corp. Reports 12% Increase In Revenue And Eleventh Consecutive Profitable Quarter

HemaCare Corporation (OTCBB: HEMA) today announced second quarter 2006 results of operations that produced a 12% increase in revenue to $8.4 million from the same period of 2005, and net income of $360,000, or $0.04 per share basic and diluted, marking the Company’s eleventh consecutive profitable quarter. Eliminating the $52,000 expense associated with the 2006 adoption of Statement of Financial Accounting Standards No 123R (“SFAS 123R”), pro forma net income was $412,000, compared to $440,000 reported for the same quarter of 2005, a $28,000, or 6%, decrease in pro forma net income from the same period in 2005. On a reported basis, the Company’s net income decreased 18%, from $440,000, or $0.05 per share basic and diluted, reported in the second quarter of 2005.
