Hamamatsu Photonics introduces the new and improved S11850-1106 and S11851-1106 back-thinned CCD linear image sensors; with improved etaloning characteristics and high sensitivity designed for spectrometry applications.
The S11850-1106 offers low noise and the S11851-1106 offers high speed, while both offer a nearly flat spectral response and high quantum efficiency from the UV to near infrared region. Both sensors also incorporate a thermoelectric cooler to maintain a constant element temperature (approx. 5 degrees C) during operation.
With high sensitivity, high full well capacity and wide dynamic range (with anti-blooming function), the sensors are also ideal for Raman spectrophotometry applications.
