FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GTC Biotherapeutics, Inc. (“GTC”, Nasdaq: GTCB) reported today its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2007. The total net loss for the current quarter was $8.4 million, or $0.11 per share, compared with $10.3 million, or $0.14 per share, in the third quarter of 2006. The total net loss for the first nine months of 2007 was $26.5 million, or $0.34 per share, compared to $27.9 million, or $0.43 per share, for the first nine months of 2006.
