24 March, 2011 -- GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Consumer Healthcare - Sensodyne highlighted dental perspectives during the dental conference and lectures it organised in Ras Al Khaimah, today (Thursday, March 24, 2011) at Al Hamra Fort Hotel & Beach Resorts.
More than 200 dentists from the UAE gathered at RAK conference, which featured discussions on periodontal perspective of dental hypersensitivity, acid erosion, infection control and implant retained overdentures. The event served as a platform for dental experts to share best practices with regard to the latest treatment techniques, in addition to serving as a forum to discuss pertinent issues, trends and solutions.
“We are pleased with the high level of interest that was shown by our dental peers in RAK & the Northern Emirates at the dental conference, which I believe reflects the collective commitment to provide the best dental services to the community. Events such as these are crucial in sharing global best practices and ultimately alleviating the standards of oral healthcare regionally and globally,” said Dr. Aisha Sultan, President of the Dental Society of the Emirates Medical Association.
Dental aspects were a key subject of discussion at the seminar given the increasing cases of dental hypersensitivity around the world. GSK has been organising dental lectures across the Middle East and Levant regions with the aim to highlight latest advances in dental hypersensitivity, acid erosion, infection control and implant retained overdentures.
