A specialist in mobile test reader solutions has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of former Skype, eBay and Microsoft customer engagement director to its strategic advisory committee.
Novarum has welcomed the appointment of Diana Easley to its strategic advisory committee. Diana Easley brings unrivalled expertise from senior customer engagement roles at some of the world’s leading technology businesses, which is invaluable knowledge in support of Novarum’s objectives for growth.
Novarum, which is headquartered in Edinburgh, was acquired by specialist diagnostics business the BBI Group in October 2016, increased revenue by 78 per cent during the 2015/16 financial year and is on course to continue this strong growth trajectory, with ambitious plans to double its existing team over the next 12 months.

Novarum’s highly-innovative mobile test reader solution facilitates the reading and sharing of disposable test results with multiple applications across medical, food, veterinary and aviation industries at a low total cost of ownership. The company’s smartphone readers enable tests to be carried out remotely and in challenging environments, with the results instantly and accurately available before being shared with a recipient - using nothing more than a smartphone.
The app is used by some of the diagnostic industry’s biggest brands and Novarum also works with smaller, more nimble specialists developing new approaches to target and treat infectious disease, toxicology and auto-immune disease.
Novarum’s current advisory group which includes innovation, strategy and marketing expert Andrew Tubb, who has more than 20 years’ industry experience including over a decade working at global pharma giant Sanofi; and mobile computer vision expert Anthony Ashbrook – who has helped to shape the company’s technology and intellectual property strategy.
