DULUTH, Ga., July 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Florida Autism Center (FAC) is proud to announce the expansion of their center-based ABA therapy services to the state of Georgia as Fusion Autism Center.

Kristy Rohwedder, CEO of FAC and Fusion Autism Center proclaimed, “I am honored to be leading our efforts to create more opportunities to provide ABA therapy to families in need of services. The aim is to pave the way and facilitate the reliable availability of ABA professionals to support the growing need of communities. It is such a privilege to expand our footprint to Georgia as we increase access to services and raise awareness about the help we can provide. As we expand our services, we are proud of what we’ve provided our clients and are striving to make a larger impact for years to come.”

Fusion Autism Center provides center-based treatment based on the basic principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, and has a specific focus on early intensive behavioral intervention, verbal behavior (language) training, and social skills training. Specialty services include toilet training, the food acceptance program, and extensive parent training opportunities. They also provide the highest quality ABA therapy based on scientific best practices.

“FAC is committed to each and every family through the many programs we offer. This is truly evident through our caregiver support programs. We are here to not only see every child succeed, but also their families,” said Meade McHenry, MS, BCBA, Executive Director of Clinical Quality.

FAC has an ongoing partnership with the University of Florida that allows the most cutting-edge, data-based ABA research to be implemented immediately across all locations.

“Applied behavior analysis is not just a therapy, it is a way of life,” said Dr. Timothy Vollmer, Ph.D., BCBA-D, University of Florida and FAC Affiliate.

FAC is currently enrolling clients for the Duluth location, offering private tours, and helping parents navigate through the tricky insurance approval process.
