The first cloned baby could be born in South Africa in six months time. According to a report in the Afrikaans daily, Beeld, a Pretoria woman is three months pregnant with the country’s first cloned baby.The Beeld report said Dr Brigitte Boisselier, president of an American cloning company, Clonaid, made the announcement at the University of the Witwatersrand on Monday.Boisselier reportedly declined to identify the woman, only saying that the baby will be black and has been cloned from its mother.
