WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The 2011 BIO International Convention, the world’s largest biotechnology event wraps up today at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. Hosted by the Biotechnology Industry Organization, the 2011 BIO International Convention’s last day spotlights advancements in biosecurity and personalized medicine. More than 15,000 attendees from 48 states and 65 countries came to Washington, D.C., for the Convention, which brings together individuals from industry, academia and government.
