Ms. Deehr was most recently a partner with the law firm of Morgan Lewis and Bockius LLP in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she focused exclusively on the special business and legal needs of public and private life sciences companies. She is patent attorney who has specialized in business transactions, negotiating and structuring of joint ventures, strategic alliances and corporate partnering arrangements relating to the research, clinical development and commercialization of pharmaceutical, medical device and over-the-counter products.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Deehr was vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary for a publicly traded early-stage drug discovery company. Ms. Deehr is a frequent lecturer on subjects relating to intellectual property transactions, including as a guest lecturer at the Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
