Together with Emageon, Meridian will be implementing a system-wide digital image management and visualization system. The enterprise system is designed to enhance patient care through state-of-the-art diagnostic tools that will be available to its physicians anywhere, anytime. Emageon will provide software that distributes advanced diagnostic tools across the entire healthcare system, giving physicians the ability to more effectively diagnose, communicate and treat patient conditions. The digital environment is designed to automate workflow to reduce/eliminate errors and create for clinicians and other personnel a more productive work environment.
