An Eli Lilly and Co. sales representative and her 6-year-old son were two of at least two dozen people who were killed in the savage flooding that devastated parts of Central Texas over Memorial Day weekend.
Laura McComb, 34, her husband, Jonathan, and their two children, Andrew, 6, and Leighton, 4, were trapped inside a house in Wimberley, Texas, when it was swept away by the rushing floodwaters, according to a report by The Associated Press.
