There are growing – and justified – concerns about the price of prescription drugs with the clamor rising as the 2016 U.S. election season peaks. A number of proposals have been offered including allowing Medicare to negotiate with drug companies and using an expert administrative body to curtail price increases on generic drugs. Regardless of the outcome of the voting on November 8th, many of these proposals will get a hearing.
