HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Dec. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Diatherix Laboratories, LLC, a leading provider of multiplex diagnostic services and solutions, announced today that it has established a multi-year research agreement with Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the Vanderbilt Vaccine Research Program. Diatherix will provide clinical laboratory services using its proprietary multiplex molecular diagnostic platform for the detection of infectious diseases.
Diatherix and the Vanderbilt Vaccine Research Program will collaborate on high-impact research programs that will enhance and expand both organizations’ capabilities related to the detection of bacterial and viral infections in both pediatric and adult patient populations. This alliance is designed to advance scientific and medical knowledge, with a due regard for patient safety and improvement of patient outcomes, particularly in children.
