DENVILLE, NJ and LIEGE, BELGIUM--(Marketwire - August 08, 2011) - Diagenode announced its first North American epigenetic assay automation workshop at the Cold Spring Harbor Mechanisms of Eukaryotic Transcription Meeting featuring the new SX-8G IP-Star® Compact system. The SX-8G IP-Star Compact® is the newest addition in Diagenode’s automation product line. Since its launch at the 2011 AACR conference in Orlando, the machine has revolutionized the ability of individual labs to quickly automate a wide variety of assays including DNA Methylation to Chromatin IP experiments.
The workshop will highlight the key features of the open platform system that allows researchers to customize multiple experimental parameters to achieve robust genome wide epigenetic profiling. All Cold Spring Harbor Mechanisms of Eukaryotic Transcription workshop participants will have the opportunity to perform both automated Methylated DNA and Chromatin Immunoprecipitaton assays.
Didier Allaer, CEO, noted, “We are excited to offer the North American epigenetic research community the opportunity to validate our newest automation platform following the successful workshops hosted at Diagenode SA in Europe over the past 2 years. We believe that the epigenetic field will greatly benefit from a fully walk-away system, the elimination of manual procedures and sample loss, along with the ability to generate faster data more consistently.”
