The new systems will be launched at the X-Gen Conference in San Diego, March 15-19.

The Bioruptor is a unique line of sonication systems with hands-free, programmable operation and parallel, multiple-sample processing. It uses standard plastic laboratory tubes ranging from 0.5-50 ml sizes, is flexible, and specially designed for the laboratory workflow. More cost-effective than serial-processing sonicators, the Bioruptor has higher throughput, saves time, and can shear up to 48 samples of DNA or chromatin simultaneously. It uses a proprietary and gentle ultrasound mechanism proven to have both high reproducibility and double-stranded DNA content.
