SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cytori Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:CYTX) (Frankfurt:XMPA) announces the retirement of Marshall G. Cox from the board of directors, effective May 3, 2007. Mr. Cox, who will be providing consulting services to Cytori, is being honored with recognition as Chairman Emeritus for his founding efforts and ten years of dedicated service as Cytori’s Chairman of the Board. Independent director Ronald D. Henriksen was appointed by the board to serve as Interim Chairman.
