SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - April 07, 2008) - Cytokinetics, Incorporated (NASDAQ: CYTK) announced today that three abstracts containing non-clinical and clinical data will be presented at the 2008 American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting to be held from April 12-16, 2008 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA. Two poster presentations will highlight non-clinical data relating to GSK-923295, a novel inhibitor of centrosome-associated protein E (CENP-E). One poster will detail findings in a preclinical model of human neuroblastoma and the other will summarize in vitro research related to a specific biomarker that may predict sensitivity of anti-tumor response to this drug candidate. In addition, an oral presentation will highlight interim clinical data related to GSK-923295 in a first-time-in-humans clinical trial.
