LEIDEN, NETHERLANDS--(Marketwire - November 11, 2008) - Crucell achieves profitability in Q3 2008. Crucell announces third quarter 2008 results with net income of EUR 12.3 million. Total revenue and other operating income increased by 31% to EUR 82.1 million compared to the same quarter last year. Gross margin in the third quarter mproved to 50% (from 36% last year). 2008 full year guidance for total revenue and other operating income growth increased to 25-30% in constant currencies (from 20%).
