(Euronext, NASDAQ: CRXL, Swiss Exchange: CRX) today announced that the resignation of two Supervisory Board members, Dr. Jürg Witmer and Dr. Claude Thomann had been approved at the company's Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. Dr. Thomann and Dr. Witmer joined the Supervisory Board in February 2006 upon settlement of Crucell's exchange offer for Berna Biotech AG, where they each served as members of the Board of Directors prior to the acquisition. The departing Supervisory Board members will not be replaced.
