UTICA, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--It is with great sadness that CONMED Corporation (Nasdaq:CNMD) announces the passing of its founder, Eugene R. Corasanti. Gene founded the Company in 1970 and served as Chairman of the Board since its incorporation through February of 2014. Gene also served as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer from its founding through December 31, 2006.
