CHICAGO – The Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS) has just published “Come Transform Research: The 2013 SLAS Annual Report.” The complete report, which is now available at the SLAS Electronic Laboratory Neighborhood e-zine at www.eln.slas.org, conveys that SLAS membership now represents 18,500 individual life science R&D professionals in 101 countries.
Financially, the Society remains sound, even with having made significant investments in technology, and its presence in Asia and in Europe during the past year. These investments solidified the Society’s platform for growth and the ongoing fulfillment of its mission, which is to serve as a global organization that exists to provide forums for education and information exchange to encourage the study of, and improve the science and practice of, laboratory automation and screening.”
