Being held September 22-23 at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the event brings together experts from pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to share applications of clinical performance metrics and process improvements.
Joining ClearTrial on the speaking roster at the Summit are leading industry practitioners and clinical project teams from Merck, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Sanofi-Aventis, Wyeth, and more. During her session, BeVard will guide attendees through practical guidelines and real-world examples for:

BeVard brings 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry to the Summit, with extensive experience in clinical trial planning. Prior to joining ClearTrial, she was Executive Director, Clinical Research for the Physician Alliance for Clinical Research (PACR), formerly part of HealthSouth. BeVard also served as Senior Director of Clinical Operations at Otsuka Maryland Research Institute, where she was responsible for the direction, strategy and execution of global clinical trial operations. She created Otsuka’s centralized clinical outsourcing group and managed all facets of the outsourcing operation, including the development of outsourcing processes, preparation and negotiation of contracts, staffing oversight and overall governance and management of outsourcing relationships. BeVard previously worked for a leading CRO, where she developed the company’s first regional monitoring network, was responsible for project resource allocation, and the management, training and development of project staff in the US and Europe.
