A Pittsburgh-based life sciences firm and its longtime top officer have parted company. Sean McDonald confirmed he has left Precision Therapeutics after 13 years as president and CEO. He said he expects to soon reveal his next career move and declined further comment.
Precision Therapeutics, which still listed McDonald heading its management team on its website as of Tuesday, has been mum. Calls to the company were directed to Courtland Longest, senior director, product management and marketing, who did not respond. Nor did two of Precision’s largest investors, Bain Capital Ventures and Adams Capital Management.
