Paris Region (Biocitech, life science park), France, January 30th 2009 – The biotech company Cellectis BioResearch (a subsidiary of Cellectis S.A. (Alternext: ALCLS)) today announced the appointment of Luc Selig, PhD, as its Vice President Sales and Marketing. Dr Selig will be responsible for developing the company’s commercial activities in both industrial and academic markets.
After co-founding Hybrigenics in 1998, Dr Selig held several positions in R&D and Business Development, where he was responsible for developing and licensing novel drug discovery technologies. He was also instrumental in successfully launching a fee-for-service business unit in 2003. Prior to joining Cellectis Dr Selig was in charge of Sales & Marketing at Hybrigenics Services and had positioned the company as the leading provider of complete solutions for protein interactions studies. He commercialized 3 lines of 15 services and developed a 700-customer portfolio that generated a cumulative turnover of over US dollars 12 million.
