CareFusion Corporation Earns ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certification

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- CareFusion (NYSE: CFN), a leading global medical technology company, today announced that it has earned the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems certification for 16 of its locations worldwide.

This achievement demonstrates CareFusion’s commitment to environmentally responsible business practices globally. Through the ISO 14001 certification, CareFusion agrees to continue its waste reduction and recycling initiatives, smart consumption of energy and materials and follow processes to manage environmental issues.

The company demonstrated to an independent auditing agency an enterprise-wide understanding of the ISO 14001:2004 standard, along with documented environmental policies and management processes. The agency conducted certification audits in mid-2011 and finalized certification approval in September 2011.
