Scotsman -- RECYCLED cereal boxes contain up to 100 times the safe level of cancer-causing chemicals that can contaminate the food they contain, scientists have warned. A study, carried out by Swiss researchers for German authorities, found that most cereal boxes tested exceeded the limit of mineral oil levels at least tenfold - while only 30 of the 119 surveyed were free of the substance.
