The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently issued the final rules for its Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System, resulting in a reimbursement rate increase of 74% now applicable to CMS codes for hyperthermia treatments performed as hospital outpatient procedures.
