WESTCHESTER, Ill., July 10 /PRNewswire/ -- BrainLAB, a global leader in image-guided medical technology, today announced that its BrainLAB Academy(R) is now accredited as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), to offer Continuing Education Units (CEU) as part of qualified course offerings through 2011. One IACET CEU is equal to 10 contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education setting.
In order to qualify for this program, BrainLAB completed an extensive application process which included demonstrating needs and learning outcome identification, program planning, retaining a staff of qualified instructional personnel, establishing standard content and instructional methods, assessment strategies, and a robust post-program evaluation process.
As part of the certification, BrainLAB agrees with respect to its BrainLAB Academy activities to comply with IACET criteria and standards, including using the IACET name and logo on course promotional materials to designate those courses that meet IACET criteria.
