Blinky clip-on LEDs and monogrammed pens were the not-so-hot items available at most of the 40 state pavilions constructed in the exhibition hall at the annual Biotechnology Industry Organization meeting that began Monday. But the Massachusetts pavilion was refreshingly festooned by tasteful photographs of biotech employees who also excel in various art forms ranging from oil painting to drumming.
