Biotech Firms Laud State for Job Boom

While many of the state’s industries are decrying the high taxes and difficult regulatory environment in New Jersey, biotechnology executives are singing a very different song. Indeed, industry leaders attribute a 28 percent increase in the number of New Jersey’s biotechnology employees between 2003 and 2006 in large part to support from state government, which, they say, has made the state an attractive place to do business.
