PORTLAND, Maine--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 11, 2006--Bioprocessing, Inc. announced today that it has recently moved into a new bulk biologics manufacturing facility in Portland, Maine. Construction began in December of 2005 and the facility and is now operationally complete.. Operations at the site have an initial workforce of 13 employees. The facility contains five cell culture suites that enable Bioprocessing, Inc. to expand from its previous facility in Scarborough, Maine. The new manufacturing facility supports a five fold increased production capacity for its bioreactor produced products and services.
