BioIndustry Association Release: UK-India Bioscience Collaboration Launched

December 2010 -- The BioIndustry Association (BIA) and the Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises (ABLE) have today, at BBE – The Business Exchange for Life Sciences conference, signed a memorandum of understanding which establishes a strategic partnership between India and the United Kingdom.

Under the terms of the partnership the two organisations will promote cooperation in bioscience in areas of mutual interest, including economic development; exchange best practice in the development of bioscience policy; and facilitate interaction between officials, scientists and technologists from India and the United Kingdom.

Nigel Gaymond, BIA Chief Executive, said:
