Saffron Walden, UK (1 May 2013) – BioFocus announced today that it has launched its Academic Engagement initiative (AEi). Based on years of experience working with academic and non-profit institutions, the primary aim of the initiative is to identify the best new therapeutic strategy ideas from academic groups, and to provide an effective and user-friendly mechanism to progress these ideas towards high quality chemical matter. As part of the interaction model, BioFocus will contribute to grant writing and will provide ideas on funding mechanisms, but will not seek to retain any IP related to the projects; this will remain with the idea-originating institution.
