GE Healthcare, which after the completion of the public offer to the shareholders in Biacore (STO:BCOR)(Nasdaq:BCOR), owns more than 98% of the shares in Biacore, has requested the board of directors of Biacore to convene an extraordinary shareholder’s meeting in Biacore as soon as possible for the election of a new board of directors for the company.
