Bayer HealthCare announced Wednesday it is selling part of its site in Mishawaka, potentially putting nearly 300 people out of work. "This type of change is difficult for employees and their families and the community and Bayer is committed to working with employees to mange change through our employee assistance program, for example. I think employees are still digesting the news today and the dialogue will continue," said Scott Kyreakakis, a spokesperson for Bayer HealthCare. Workers at the Mishawaka site work for several different divisions of Bayer, which will impact whether their job is secure.
