DEERFIELD, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Board of Directors of Baxter International Inc. (NYSE:BAX) today declared a quarterly dividend of $0.335 per Baxter common share.
Over the last five years, Baxter has returned $11.4 billion to shareholders in the form of dividends and share repurchases. In 2011, Baxter returned more than $2.3 billion to shareholders, a 7 percent increase from 2010, through dividends totaling $709 million and share repurchases of approximately $1.6 billion (or 30 million shares).
